Muqueca de Camarao

Our own slightly French version of this classic Brazilian dish. A mix of giant tiger prawns and shelled prawns, large green lipped mussels on their half shell, mussels and succulent chunks of white fish cooked slowly in coconut milk, naturally spiced with fresh green chillies and paprika. Garlic and cherry tomatoes, chopped spring onions and green peppers gently cooked in palm oil are added to the mix providing not only flavour but texture and colour. This delicious dish is then freshened with freshly squeezed lemon juice and served with rice.
